Acrotec creates custom web application in joint venture
with Montana and Canadian School
Eagle Christian School, of Missoula, Montana and Centennial Academy of Montreal,
Quebec approached Acrotec with a need to increase the functionality
of their Web-based school software. They needed an interface for parents
to communicate with teachers and administration, view student grades and assignments, as well as have access to announcements and the school calendar.
Acrotec worked with both schools to define their needs and develop a solution. Using a similar web-based technology Acrotec was able to extend the functionality of the existing
software to meet their needs, while removing the need for additional licensing
for parents.
Acrotec's custom application increased the
functionality of the school's software, while saving them thousands of dollars in
licensing fees.
